Welcome to the home page of the research network Operator Algebra and Dynamics.
Operator Algebra and Dynamics is a research network consisting of 8 Nordic research groups. The purpose of the network is to promote mobility and cooperation between operator algebraist in the Nordic countries working on the interplay between operator algebra and dynamics. The network is supported by a grant running from 1 August 2009 to 31 July 2012 from NordForsk. Most of the funding is earmarked for supporting research visit between the participating groups, especially for young people. The network will also arrange workshops, seminars, summer schools and similar events.

- Trondheim Four positions as Associate Professor or Professor in Mathematical Sciences are available at Norwegian University of Science and Technology. The application deadline is May 31, 2012. For one of the positions, preference will be given to researchers in geometry and topology and in functional analysis. Interested candidates are welcome to contact Toke Meier Carlsen (tokemeie@math.ntnu.no) for more information.

The participating groups
The groups participating in the network and their group leaders are:
- The Non-Commutative Geometry group at the University of Copenhagen (Søren Eilers, Project Leader).
- The operator algebra group at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (Toke Meier Carlsen, Deputy Project Leader and Coordinator).
